Iconeek is proud to introduce here a very nice and attractive 36 mm stainless steel luxury sport’s wristwatch by Audemars Piguet: the Royal Oak Ref. 4100 ST.

Manufactured in the 1980s, the model is a very fine and rare, octagonal, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date, sweep center second and a stainless steel Audemars Piguet link bracelet with secured and concealed deployant clasp.

The model has a three-construction: a tonneau-shaped steel case with lapidated lugs, four screws in the bands to secured the removable steel bracelet, an octagonal steel bezel secured by eight screws, a plain steel case back secured with nuts. The serial number on the inner case cack indicates that this watch is a B-series, and with this reference it dates to the mid-1980s. Engraved on the back is number 1984, suggesting it was the nineteen eighty fourth made in this configuration.

Under the flat sapphire crystal glass, a superb anthracite, lovely patinated, tapissserie grey dial with applied luminous gold Baton indexes, gold luminous hands, an aperture for the date at 3, an outer minute division. The  dial is signed «  Audemars Piguet, Automatic » on top, and «  Swiss made » at the bottom. The model comes with a caliber AP 2225, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, self-winding with an 21K gold rotor.  The movement number is a bit later to the production of the case, with no. 578467, probably exchange during a service. Dial, case and movement are signed.

The present watch is fitted with its original AP removable stainless steel link bracelet with integrated secured deployant clasp. The approx. overall length is 180 mm.
